On the morning of September 12, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) held the 2023 China Private Enterprises Top 500 Summit in Jinan, Shandong. During the event, the 2023 lists of China's Top 500 Private Enterprises, Top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises, and Top 100 Service Enterprises were released.

It is reported that this year marks the 25th consecutive large-scale survey of private enterprises organized by the ACFIC, with a total of 8,961 companies with annual revenues exceeding 500 million RMB participating. The rankings were based on the companies' 2022 annual revenues, with the entry threshold for China's Top 500 Private Enterprises reaching 27.578 billion RMB, an increase of 1.211 billion RMB from the previous year. The threshold for the Top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises was 14.516 billion RMB, and for the Top 100 Service Enterprises, it was 31.404 billion RMB, with increases of 1.944 billion RMB and 1.289 billion RMB, respectively.
